How does LXQt compare to other DEs like KDE or GNOME? Is it any

I think it be cool if they made a lxqt mate edition. If not I'll probably do it myself because gtk is dead now that theyre switching over to gtk3.

It's a more lightweight alternative to KDE that still provides a good settings UI but as with every small ambitious projects it doesn't have enough devs and its devs are busy with other things.

Also, if you have a computer that was made after 2010 and has 4GB of ram or more, you have absolutely no reason to use this instead of KDE.
