It looks like power9 comes in two variants one with more conventional quad ddr4 and another more like power8s strange setup. Might be cheaper than expected as a result.

This is definitely not a botnet-free machine, nor is it a secure machine. At best, this machine prevents firmware accessing the *whole* system. That's all it does. It doesn't prevent any attacks.
