Note 5 here. Good hardware but I fucking hate Touchwiz. I'm about to get a OnePlus 3T or something with Lineage OS support. I can hardly take it anymore. im sure it sounds very stupid, but i really cant use clover, or even overchan.
i have 4 imageboards that a frequently browse: this place, 8chun and lainchun. i used to browse them all with overchan, but now after the lainchon split, the other board isnt supported by it and that makes me feel incredibly uneasy. browsing three of these very similar sites using an app, while leaving the 4th one out and browsing it with a browser instead, it feels terrible, and makes me feel extremely stressed out and nervous, to the point of sometimes having to suppress strong harmful urges.
but the cure is simple, i just use my browser for everything

Okay, did some more looking into it. The beta version requires internet access. Makes sense, since they want info if you're beta testing. The release version, however, has no 'net access.

My best guess is that the Play website lists permissions for release version AND beta version, while the Play Store app only lists release version permissions if you're not signed up for beta.
