What up /pmp/'s, so we've been having these threads for a while now and I noticed some of you prefer it to be called /dap/ since it's more of a catch-all. Is a vote on this needed or are you guys okay with the name as is?

I... uh... I ended up opting out of the iPod Classic.
I found myself making too many justifications for buying what was probably cheap chink parts, and I figure I can always buy an iPod video in a few months.

I did a little more research and found out that a recent firmware update changed the way the scroll wheel worked for a lot of people, so I'm just going to put my faith in Fiio to fix gapless playback next update like they say they will + eventually perfect the scroll wheel.
Will post pics when it comes in. Already got the Leather case and my SD card in.
After that, I think I'll try to find a black iPod video with an unscratched screen. A few sites are still selling matte vinyl skins that I can use to emulate the U2 iPod without paint chipping all over the place.
