I'm trying to boot another Linux distribution ISO from a self-bootable USB to install on this machine but am getting nowhere. I can't access the motherboard's BIOS to make things easier so am trying through terminal unsuccessfully.

Can anyone help?

I don't think so reading through it, is there a quick way to boot directly from the USB device on startup and format/install another distribution over this one?

I don't want multiple OS', only one. Thanks
