Liked the outer design, but when people tried to mod it for regular PC's, it apparently had a really weird internal config, especially for cooling.

The G5 was the shit when it came out. And software wasn't bloated shit like it is today. I have an old G5 (2.5x2) and MS Office for Power Macs runs circles around modern Office. Xcode for PPC also runs circles around a lot of "modern" tools like THIRTEEN PERCENT VS Code and anything by JetShit.

But yeah, the G5 can't perform some tasks that modern CPUs can when efficient coders write the code.
