I knew about the meme, but ironically 970 is the cheapest option at the time compared to it's closest AMD counterparts.

I got about 40 of them. I sold a lot of i5 4440, H81 ,2x4gb 1333mhz ram, 1tb seagate hdd, reference gtx 970, corsair cx 500 with Daz loaded Windows 7 during that time period.
