I'm mostly interested in lossless music and I've acquired a pretty good collection over the years trough public trackers (even some obscure ones) and by buying CDs and so on, but I want to change this.
What are some private trackers for this purpose?
I've a 24/7 seedbox and it's not a problem to do some interviews here and there, as well as seeding.
The only I knew was WHAT.cd, but it has closed recently

I was interviewing for Redacted, my interviewer fucked up (has just acknowledged it), failed me after acing every single question related to audio and torrenting, etc; and now I have to wait in the queue for 55 more positions, have that bullshit counted against me as a legitimate failed interview, and the admins won't move a fucking finger to help me after they were the ones to fuck up?

He asked if it was allowed to offer invites on other private trackers; I replied "Under the right circumstances, yes, I believe so" meaning that staff and approved users can do so if it's in an invite forum.

I suppose he needed a bit more, but he never asked for clarification. I confronted them today after my 48 ban was over and he admitted to fucking up by not asking what I meant exactly since my answer wasn't incorrect.

Long story short, I have to wait once again and pray that I don't get another dipshit as an interviewer.

This tracker will never come close to what, really.

The RED interview is beyond a joke. I waited 32 hours to do an interview a week ago, 22 hours of which was at 7th in the line, then 6th, then 5th as people gave up or d/c and left. 22 hours of sitting by the computer waiting because who knows when the interview will start? And being 5th in line means when they do start ill be up. Then the interview starts, im tired, and now i've gotta decipher transcode chains to identify a good/bad transcode, got one wrong, failed interview (only question i got wrong up till then), cya in 48 hours. I dont know if the interview is always that strict, but after that experience i can comfortably say ill never do it again. It just isnt worth it.
I dont know how it worked with what.cd, maybe because that site was bigger there were more interviewers doing interviews and communicating with the people waiting for the interviews to start. But it shouldnt be hard for someone to say "hey, interviews wont start for another 6 hours" or something like that in the chat. Even saying "interviews will only start between 5-7pm EST Monday - Friday", because atleast then you know if your interview hasnt started by 7pm EST, you can go to bed and not miss the interview starting. Giving the process some kind of structure shouldnt be impossible, and would make the whole process much less like torture. This is a private music tracker after all, not the NSA, the interview process shouldnt be that hard...although i guess they both enable illegal activity so maybe it's fair.
Ultimately it's up to you if you try to go for it, and it's up to RED as to how they handle the whole process, but id say if your thinking about it now, dont do it. Maybe in a few months it'll be better but right now nothing is worth what it takes to get into RED.
