fuck no
No. The "original price" is artificially inflated to make the clearance look better. The $200 Chromebooks are normally much better than that. Seriously that thing is God awful. Please don't ever buy a laptop of any sort without at least 32GB onboard storage.

OP i have this chromebook. It's nice for a what it is, long battery life and portability. I slapped on a real system on it though.

And you have reading comprehension issues. I didn't say it was an unusable amount of storage. I said not to buy it. In case you need the specifics spelled out, I'm typing this on a 13" laptop with 32GB storage that cost $200 when it wasn't even on sale. Buying something new with 16GB at any big box retail price point is bad money sense.

Well for one, if youre gonna buy in the used market, you're right, there are better options.
I live Kenada so it's hard to find a 200 laptop and chromebooks are the only ones in the price range.

You can't "artificially inflate" a manufacturer's suggested retail price. The manufacturer can suggest whatever retail price it wants, and it's 100% natural, I guarantee you. Inflation has nothing to do with the fact that you think a price is too high.
