What the actual fuck?
Did anyone have this problem and got it fixed?
>>61387468
The most advanced Windows ever.
works on my machine
>>61387468
It's the hidden advertisement panel right above the start button. They don't actually remove it, they just make it invisible until it's time to flash the advertisement.

uh*
>auto arrange icons
>align icons to grid
Not exactly your issue but I just want to point it out
>Windows automatically arranges icons by columns
>when you shift+click to select several icons, they're selected by rows
FUCKING WHY
>>61387468
So this is the power of Windows 10
Nice SE there though

lol
Fixed it rolling back to Windows 7
>>61387468
install fucking gentoo retard
This happens to me and I just learned to deal with it. A lot like everything else in Windows, the only reliable way to get where you want is to use the search bar now.
Wouldn't be surprised if even MS can't fix it.

Go away Russkie. Nobody wants your backdoored "free" OS.

It's called castling, you uneducated nigger
>>61387468
Others have reported the same problem. Either rollback to Anniversary Update or earlier or deal with it because it's not on their priority list.

With loads of new functions, bug occur.
But something like this? I mean, how hard can it be to get icons to align... Pajeet, please fix.
>>61388195
At least this works (for now) on Windows.
>>61387468
probably a 15 year old bug left alone because it breaks a version that nobody ever used for a program that nobody uses anymore
>>61390165
No, this is new with Creators Update.
I had something similar to this with win 7 a few years ago and it turned out to be some RAM issue
>>61390187
bugs can go untriggered until something else changes
>>61387468
so this... is the poo... in the loo
>windows 10
Serves you right.
>>61387468
Right click on your desktop. Do you have some kind of "arrange icons" setting check-marked? It could be trying to auto-arrange a layout.
If this doesn't solve your problem, then install gentoo.

>>61388170
Make a bug report.
>>61391330
It's been reported since the day CU came out.

Big macOS and Linucs don't have this problem
>>61391330
it's not a bug. Its so the ads don't cover your icons. Think about that for a second and then go back to windows 7
>>61388067
I found a definitive fix for it. The problem is really stupid.
>>61387468
What? kek
>having icons on your desktop
Disgusting. I can accept 2 or 3, but not that many.
