anyone use KDE? it's still miles better than all other desktop enviorments, but after just a short time using it I found many really crap bugs
latest KDE plasma issues and bugs:
every time you change wallpaper the entire session crashes and restarts
have to hit "Log out" / "Reboot" multiple times to actually take effect from start menu
Various steam games will randomly break Kwin and have no boarders.
Various steam games open on wrong monitor with graphical glitches
Various steam games black screen and crash the whole system.
Audio will randomly crackle and distort terribly. Fix on arch wiki?
whats up with this? why is linux software so buggy? when will linux software finally be usable?
works on my machine
what version are you using?

>why is linux software so buggy?
It's KDE that is to blame in this instance. They can't seem to focus on getting rid of bugs, instead they continue to pile more shit on top of them.

Look. Why is it so shitty for me?
Also, another one
>When using the QT filepicker fix for Firefox on KDE, i sometimes have to hit Browse > upload multiple times for it to actually select the picture....

I used to run KDE neon on my memepad about a month ago. One evening, I updated my system and after a reboot, I was returned to a fallback display-manager and Plasma was nowhere to be found in my sessions-list.
Now I'm running Lubuntu with i3 instead. much comfier, and it actually works.
Found another one
>Cant resize steam window
like it just randomly stops working...
lmfao, who the FUCK USES THIS?

works for me, btfo FUD

I installed KDE Neon and my fonts were enormous and would not scale down no matter what I tried. I can't even comment on the rest of the system because that shit was unusable. Into the trash it went.
