What if he is running, for example, Alpine OpenRC/musl/BSD/BusyBox/Linux?
>>61368362
He's running a DE on what clearly looks like X.
He's 99% running on GNU corelibs and coreutils.
>GNU+Linux.

bold claim
Also won't it make more sense to call it KDE/Linux LOL
>>61368362
Something with KDE
>>61368284
Its macOS now get with the times
Multiple desktop environments already came with file managers that have thumbnail view available by default. Not to mention that where thumbnail view was not available natively, it could be installed as third party software. Stop pretending like "Linux" determines whether or not you have thumbnails in the file picker. This is /g/, you're supposed to be a little more tech literate than this.

Netbook or Virtual machine.
KDE has a lot of cool shit and is much more customizable than what macOS has.
However, it's way, way, WAY buggier, and performance is not that great.
>>61368284
Fuck off Daniel
>GTK still doesn't have filepicker thumbnails
>have to compile a patch yourself without instructions

I'm going to try openSUSE because KDE Neon is getting too unstable for me. It's pissing me off to no end.
