Someone is offering me a i7 7700k system without gpu for 600 that is why I'm asking but currently worried of bottleneck

i7-7700K goes for $310 new on sale. Shouldn't be paying that much for it used if the rest of the components aren't amazing. Seems a bit of a rip-off. Would need full specs on the PC he's trying to sell you.

Not a terrible deal, but you could get a R5 1600, a nice X370 mobo, and 16GB of fast DDR4 for around the same and reuse other parts from your current system. I guess it comes down to the quality of your other parts and the other parts in the the system you're being offered.

i7 7700k is at the end of life - the next intel CPU generation will most probably have another socket, so if you want to upgrade the CPU in the future you will need also a new mainboard.

But the deal is good, so go for it.

Also use the smaller HD for backups of personal or important files and keep it in an external case.
