I've been using mach3 my whole adult life (I'm 37). I recently had to buy a foil shaver due to a hospital stay in which you were required to use an electric razor. I bought a highly reviewed expensive Panasonic model, and it fucking sucks. These people reviewing electrics have never used a regular old disposable. It takes longer to use the electric and it does a shit job, I see no upside to the electric at all.

Some philips 9000 series. It works pretty well aside from one area near my throat. The sideburn trimmer attachment also works well for pubes.

If im playing it lazy(as I shower), I stick with the Razor/3-in-1 combo and do multiple passes in between the cheeks with the grain, then against when most of the hair is gone.
Just go slow around the asshole, and try to stay away from the soft, fleshy anus.
The only tricky part is trying to shave the part above the cheeks where you have the crevice.
Having a hairy butt (basically 90% of all guys) takes multiple passes and patience. It helps to prop a leg up

can use in shower. real easy. doesn't hurt even with the guard off.
as for facial hair, i like to rock a 3 day stubble, i use philips 7000 beard trimmer, the one with the built in vacuum. I don't recommend it, to be honest. The vacuum works well but the device gives an uneven shave, at least for stubble. If you have a proper beard it works well.
