Back to /a/ where you belong, autists.
>>61337719
Only way to roll imo.
Start menu is a cluster fuck.
I have folders on my desktop with all my frequently used apps sorted by function.
>>61337783
DE user detected
How does it feel to be a brainlet?
>>61337783
And OP should go back to /v/, yes?
I don't even have X installed in my Arch. Get on my level faggots.

like why?
>>61337823
how do you even use a webbrowser? an office suite? a text editor? a movie player?
What the fuck you want a desktop for then? Jerk one to it?
>>61337740
Can I use awesome wm and GTK and Qt applications without actually installing a desktop environment, fellow madoka poster?
>>61337783
anime website
>>61337852
there ara alot of web CLI web browsers (granted they take time to get used to), no office suites, I think most of us already use a CLI text editor (see nano, vim, etc.). I had an archaic laptop on which I didn't install X and was able to use all of these programs seamlessly. As for movie player theres always 'libcaca'.
>>61337719
I use my desktop for its intended purpose. No shortcuts though. That's what the start menu is for
Things that were a mistake:
>DE
>CSS
>Javascript
>PHP
>Any other webshit beside HTML
If you want nice looking things go outside or something.
>>61337952
HTML is junk too.
>>61337958
I know, but you need something. Plain HTML is the least bloated alternative.
>>61337982
Why not a binary format instead of this human readable junk which no human ever has to read?
>>61337982
LaTeX. Web browsers should just be pdf renderers. Replaces HTML and CSS in one go.
>>61337903
i have no idea. im just a normie running xubuntu on xfce.
>>61338077
For future reference, Xubuntu already means that you're running Xfce, no need to tell that twice.
>>61338065
you truly are an autist
