There was a projector thread the other day. Then it died. Then I saw this listing. Is it worth?

Do it
The lamp + module alone is over $200
Are you ready to pay for a new lamp and module if that's the issue?

Thank you

I have the money to spare. Just wondering if an LCoS is worth it for about 500.
You can get an Epson TW5300 for $500 and it's better. Don't waste money on old projectors.
can laser/led projectors be serviced youself?
ive always wanted a projector but the bulb price was always a downer

That only sort of matches the contrast ratio in auto Iris mode,a field that projectors already struggle with and a feature that is probably best disabled anyway.

Agreed. If you can't pony up for a new one, the best way to get a projector is to find a cheap bulb on ebay first, then buy a broken or high hour projector that the bulb fits since they're worthless/free with a bad bulb. I've been buying my projectors this way for years and spend <$150.
