No age really but programming is becoming more and more a normie thing, I started with 13 and nowadays its normal to start with some school activity (don't know a lot about this in america but in germany it is) so its better to start early. but at a certain age its just too late, about 20? from here on onwards it isnt worth anymore, you wouldnt get a job.

Education is a state and local thing in Burgonia so it depends strongly on where you grow up. If you're in a rich neighborhood or a private school you can expect to see computer/programming classes in high school. If you're on the south side of Chicago they don't even really care if you can read, let alone use a computer.
