Not sure if I should make a whole new thread for just this question but it is on my mind. I have a new computer build, I know it is not the best but I guess it is what I can afford.

The guy next door tells me my computer heats up a lot because in the Bios it was hitting above 40 going to 50 a couple of times, so he put the fan on 100%.

The more I read though the more I get the idea 50 is not the end of the world even if it would happen and I also get the idea my computer is not that hot even when doing a lot of stuff at the same time. I am now playing GTA V on the background while downloading stuff and it is still not super hot.

Should I just put the fan on automatic (and if so, how should I do that?) or just leave it blowing at 100%, or should I do as the kid next door advised and buy an extra fan for my setup?. I mean it is just only mildly annoying that it blows so hard all the time.
