Probably anything recent that isn't under $80 total.
>>61297630

>>61296946
Why did i laugh
>>61296882

>>61296882

>watching 1080p mp4/mkv videos
pick one
>>61297674
Not really, I just search for whatever processor the device I want uses and if it supports the video formats and then I search for some videos showing how it actually performs. Quite the hassle, but you get to see actual performance.

NanoPi M1.
What's the deal with those new Apollo Lake CPU/GPU combo?
This one for instance
http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/J4205-ITX/index.asp
The GPU is slower than the older 2014 J1800 model
According to Intel, the newer PentiumĀ® J4205 GPU is rated at 250 MHz while CeleronĀ® J1800 from 2013 is 688 MHz

>1 GB RAM
can't even load a porn video
What's the best gpu for hevc decoding?
>>61299509
why do you need hevc decoding?
Any GTX 750ti will do it
>>61299613
I get frame drops with my gtx 780.
>>61299623
>get frame drops
are you downloading 8k porn or playing GTA V in ultra settings?
>>61299639
No, just trying to watch anime encoded at 1080p with x265.
>>61299660
what's your CPU?
>>61296946
Kek
>>61299722
i5 3570k at 3.40
>>61299623
You are that guy from mpv thread! Why didn't you tell you have a fucking Celeron?
>>61299797
I don't.
>>61299762
there is no reason this should happen. Something is wrong on the software side, not hardware.
>>61299660
I told you to disable supersampling in doubling settings you retard.
>>61299829
I did. It still happens randomly.
>>61299841
Change your power plan to at least adaptive in Nvidia control panel. If it won't help then lower your quality setting (NGU). Getting few stopped frames at the start of a video is normal. Your video card is more than enough for 1080p videos.
>>61299871
Can't atm but I will try those.
>>61299841
If you still get drops after >>61299871 then reset madvr to default (bat file in the madvr folder) and don't change settings you know nothing about to not fuck up things again.
Can someone answer this >>61299205
please?
thanks
>>61299871
x265 isn't GPU accelerated, idiot.
Gtx 1080 ti
Ryzen 1800x
>>61300234
Under 120 dollars
>>61300133
Your fucking wot? Educate yourself, dumbass. Also that guy uses madvr, my comment was regarded to that.
>>61300263
x265 is too new to have any hardware acceleration for most everything people are using. Give it a few years.
>>61300133
Both Polaris and Pascal support x265 decoding, as well as Sky/Kabylake (8-bit).
