What's the point of the cushion on the I/O shields nowadays? I couldn't even fit my mobo in with it, had to rip off of the squishy part which was held on with adhesive.

No idea, they are a huge pain in the ass to install and hurt like cunts if they cut you. Was building a new rig for my friend and I was having trouble popping that in and he was all freaking out I was damaging it and his case, shit was retarded.
