I'd stick with Debian
>>
>>61282473
I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you're referring to as debain, is in fact, Debian, or as I've recently taken to calling it, Debian. Debain is not an operating system unto itself, or even another free component of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX.
Many computer users run a modified version of the Debian system every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of GNU which is widely used today is often called Linux, and many of its users are not aware that it is basically the GNU system, developed by the GNU Project.

I agree, I've gotten a bit fat
I usually do a wipe every 6 months or so, so I don't mind too much anyways.
I've been more interested in Debian forks as of late, so I jump everyonce in a while.

I agree, slackware is good for preventing your system from getting too bloated.

bspwm
It's driving me crazy and the only reason I'm using it is because I want a vertical taskbar. If you don't mind having your bar on top or bottom (or no bar), then i3-gaps would be much easier to set up.

opensuse, big repos, zypper, rpm based, get tumbleweed, plus its a rolling distro with no compiling.
