Why isn't your computer a V8?
>>61273623
Why would I downgrade from a jet engine to a car engine?
>>61273623
lel at cucks getting an i6 when they could have a v8 instead
>>61273623
>>61273671
Could have had a V8
>>61273671
i6 > V8
Piston in every position plus more torque
>>61273831
i5s always sounded cooler. Deal with it.
Cause I have an amd W8
>>61273864
I prefer a WD8TB
>>61273623
Nice cooler but over priced. They want more for it than noctua and be quiet do for their big air stuff.
The v12 is cool too.
Remove the plastic, charge a fair price, and they will have a successful product. The things have been on the market since at least sandy bridge and sell like shit.

>There are people right now that are not installing an intercom as a CPU cooler
Normies
>>61273660
>his desktop cannot achieve flight
>>61273623
Looks like a v6 head.
>>61273623
But i do anon
>>61274028
Death grip syndrome.
>>61273946
crap i remember this 200W abomination.
because it's a VB
>>61273946
Looks like a fucking guitar pedal
>>61273623
>tfw no dorito cpu cooler
>>61274028
>implying
>>61274273
>tfw drinking one of those right now
>>61273864
I got the joke
>>61273901
Earlier than that. I got one with my i5-750 back in the Nahalem days.
>>61273623
>he didnt get the v-shaped v8
>>61273623
but seriously. IMO water coolers are the best, there is no point getting one of these shits anymore when you can get a closed loop water cooler for less than 50 bucks.
I got a liqtech 120x or whatever from Frys for $22 and it installed in an hour, and now my CPU temps are slightly above ambient usually. I have an AMD so with the stock cooler I was literally hitting 100+ C, now I never break 60.
>>61273623
>V8
>Not a V
Why?
>>61273660
Serious question: why are pure copper HS out of fashion? Isn't it a better heat sink than aluminum?
>>61273863
>All the downsides of an inline 6 and inline 4 combined just to have power stroke overlap
yeah no
>>61278318
Because copper has become extremely expensive in the last ten years.
Aluminium is cheap as shit and moderately good at heatsinking.
>>61278318
Copper is quite a bit more expensive, so cost is a factor. It's also very heavy and corrodes quicker.
>>61274672
>tfw R4 diesel
Feels bad man
>>61278785
>tfw I4 turbodiesel with 300k kms on it
Feels good man... atleast while it's working.
>>61278879
i'm fairly sure my vw 1.9tdi already had it's kilometer counter overflow once
>>61273623
Man...
Do you use your computer in a desert?
It's not better buy an air conditioner?
>>61274028
>His desktop cant escape earths gravity
>>61273623
I could've had a V8!
>>61273623
Why would I downgrade from a cooling tornado to a car engine?
>>61273623
.. won't one side always be warmer than the other with these setups?
>cool air > heat sink 1 > fan (warm air) > heat sink 2 > hot air
Heat sink 2 can't cool it's side of the CPU plate as well now.
>>61273831
>more torque
I don't think I've ever seen an I6 have more power or torque than an equal displacement & fuel V8.
>>61273623
no, but my cpu has 5.4L of displacement, screw downsizing.
>>61273623
bitch I have a double jet engine.
I don't think people who make heat sinks know what the fuck they are doing.
Doesn't it just kind seem like heat sinks make the thing even hotter?
If all they do is absorb heat, and don't dissipate it, then they are literally just making the chip run hotter.
>>61281270
That's what the fans are for, dumbass.
I got jacked shopping online for a heatsink, they gave me these things that were the size of bread toaster.
I was like, "WTF are these? How am I suppose to use this in my computer?"
>>61273623
But I have that heatsink. 6 and a bit years on still going strong, was overkill for an i5 650 and still works well enough for my i5 2500k.
>>61281270
It's all a big scam, anon. Remove the heatsink from your CPU right now! Disable overtemp protection in the BIOS first (another kike trick to keep the heatsink money train going).
>>61281117
>>61281288
but you have a heat sink with 30 aluminum plates and a fan you bought at k-mart that doesn't run laterally to the slats, which is stuck in a sealed case with hardly any ventilation. It has no exhaust port, no cooling mechenism like an air conditioner would, where is the heat supposed to GO?
>v8
>6 intake pipes
?????
I mean, these things are being designed by engineers, right? Haven't they ever heard of specific heat?
Couldn't they put a fraction the same thought into a machines ventilation that they do in the billions of nano-particulate die casts they use for CPU's?
>>61281335
Well then you have a subpar setup that will throttle after a few minutes of load. It would still be worse without the HSF.
>>61280059
You're not funny.
>>61273623
Perfection. All others are pretentious pretenders to an undeserved throne.
>>61273709
>not using V8 as your coolant
the fuck out of here
>>61281502
>that cheap as fuck-looking sparse fin stack
Disgusting.
>>61273623
b-but anon. my pc IS a v8.
>>61281502
the mugen was shit and you know it.
>>61273709
I loved this shit as a kid

>>61282995
obviously you got the wrong one you retard
>>61274273
Drinking great northern but VB still second best after guinness
>>61273946
People will laugh about this cooler but you're gonna need it for Intel's i9
>>61278318
Copper absorbs heat, but it doens't dissapate it as well as aluminuim.
>>61273623
There is a replacement for displacement though.
>>61285689
>i am fucking retarded: the post
>>61273831
But a V8 sounds WAYYY better
>>61283639
Hell no, those V8 drinks were salty af
