What do people have against Adblock Plus? I suddenly see people using it like a dirty word

Blocking ads is immoral and tantamount to theft.
Whitelists are worse than hitler.
>>61273287
they made some deals with advertisers to let their ads bypass the blocker

>mute television and go into a different room during commerical
>police kick down the door and arrest you for stealing the tv show
The whitelist they have that you can pay to get on mostly. Really though there's no good reason to use it over ublock origin, since ublock is less resource intensive and uses the same block lists as adblock.
The "allow some non-intrusive advertising" feature inspires blind vicious rage and gnashing of teeth in many people. But it is just a little checkbox that takes two seconds to uncheck, so I don't think it's that big of a deal. Also, it allows the ABP team to raise funds off those too lazy or retarded to uncheck it so they have the means to fight and win court cases like these:

This is a good podcast with the ABP team, if you can get past the lies and dissimulation of the fat lazy perverted greedy hypocrite Leo
