Ok, there is no way you want to be trading in any of your points for upload credit. They're way more useful to you for pardoning larger files. You don't have to wait until you bring up your ratio. Start downloading some of the smallest new freeleaches as they come out (8-12 gb range). Keep them for a few weeks or until their weekly ratio drops too low to be useful. Try and gauge what is going to be the most popular, and start your download within 5 minutes of the torrent being posted. Use RSS if you have to. Also consider cross-seeding from public trackers.

How can I move to a better tracker from IPT? I have a great ratio and 5TB uploaded, I have a VPN and a dedicated seed server now. I don't feel very safe with IPT because they have invited by donating. I'm pretty content with their selection mostly and I don't participate in meta or any shit involving its bad reputation.

Hi,

I was in what, I enjoy this community and love to share music. My library is giant so I'm not looking to snatch too much, just upload mostly. Actually I've been here for just 3 days and already uploaded more than 30 perfect flacs.

Nontheless, it seems that there is something extremely unfair in the way things are handled.

Let's say I upload something from 2017 and it's 500MB, and 15 people snatch instantly. Well I only get the upload credit for some 530MB and those guys with seedboxes get then 90% upload credit of MY WORK.

This is not fair. It takes around 2 hours for me (with my eq. set up) to rip a 2 disc album, and I'l barely get 10% of the credit for it even tho' I'm the one that made it posible to exist that album on this site, or even the internet.

I am really frustrated... I have a 20mbps connection and uTorrent uploads at an average speed of 270kbps... Internet is kind of expensive in my country so I can't afford a 150 dollars subscription to 100mbps internet.

So, is this how this is gonna work? I'll get my upload credit stolen by someone with a better connection? Or is there any way to fix this?

Seedboxes definitely pump and dump in aggregate. 2017 releases get about 30-50 autosnatches and will only have about 8-15 seeders after a week (unless it's a major release that draws lots of manual downloaders too)

I honestly have no idea what to do with 144 tokens.

I don't even really listen to music anymore.

Even if I did want to download things, I have so much buffer that I don't NEED the tokens, and so if I did intend to use them, I would still sit on them - trying in vain to find torrents I not only want but which would maximize the use I can get out of them. I would decline to use them on torrents which are smaller in size, using my buffer to snatch those instead... and sit on the tokens so long that I lose them anyway, negating any putative benefit I would get from seeking out new things to download while I have them.

It's like how in a game when you get a bunch of max-heal potions or super attack-up potions and they just sit in your inventory forever because you never really need them NOW and there's always something better down the road to use them for.

Even if you have a shitload of buffer like I do it's ideal to use them all on things that generate buffer than make requests for stuff you want but Redacted doesn't have. The good thing on Redacted is that it is essentially a request filling tracker due to the hard economy - you can request fucking anything and people will fill it.
