What's /g/'s opinion on Salesforce? Got offered a job at a Salesforce consulting company.
I work with it daily. I view it just like photoshop - very versatile, but you'll spend fucking forever learning it.

Documentation is shit. Make sure you get a testing/sandbox login since you'll be testing every feature 20+ times to figure out if it did what it was supposed to.

give yourself a task like "i will write a trigger that automatically creates a task when a contact is created with a status of xxx, and the task will be associated with the owner of the related account"
and then just sit there until you figure it out
