I'm having an issue with an application that is possibly persistent in using my computer's resources after closing it. Is there a good program that can close out any running processes/applications automatically on my computer? closest thing I can think of is ccleaner, but that doesn't really quite help my issue.

Wish I could help, but it's Windows.

Be specific: what operating system and what application are you using? What makes you think it's not releasing resources.
Take a look at the SysInternals suite of utilities. It has lots of different tools to analyze and tweak your system.

So something like this?@echo off
:proc
taskkill /T /IM process_name.exe
timeout /t 10 /nobreak > NUL
goto :proc
Just replace the process_name with the fucker eating up your resources, save it as whatever .bat and keep it running.
