If I were to buy a mx board, would cherry be the best choice now? Since I heard they bought new tooling/molds.
>>
Which stabilisers are less garbage, plate-mount Cherry or Costar?

you didn't post a new thread link in the old thread dumbass
>>
>>61260454
no because unless you buy a cherry board or maybe a filco you probably won't get the new ones anyway and there is still nothing wrong with gateron
>>
>>61260483
costar just that the inserts can be annoying to deal with when putting on keycaps. if you get cherry you can clip them to make them less shit
>>
>Just double checked my MX Blues on my FC980M I purchased a couple of weeks ago and it is using the new mould. I've noticed that they are even louder than traditional blues.
lol shills complain that gateron blue is louder but now that cherry has molds that aren't old as shit theirs are louder too
>>
>>61260497
Aren't those reported to feel too wobbly and not like stock topre? Do you have real experience with them?
>>
>>61260483
All of my customs use PCB mount Cherry and when I bought a Filco with Costar I was struck by how silent the stabilized keys are in comparison, especially the space bar
>>
>>61260760
Can you even clip plate mount Cherry? Seems to me like they wouldn't have the little feet you clip because they don't impact anything like PCB mount do.
>>
>>61261196
yes
>>
>>61261233
But would it even make a difference in a handwired build?
