If I were to buy a mx board, would cherry be the best choice now? Since I heard they bought new tooling/molds.

Which stabilisers are less garbage, plate-mount Cherry or Costar?

costar just that the inserts can be annoying to deal with when putting on keycaps. if you get cherry you can clip them to make them less shit

All of my customs use PCB mount Cherry and when I bought a Filco with Costar I was struck by how silent the stabilized keys are in comparison, especially the space bar

Can you even clip plate mount Cherry? Seems to me like they wouldn't have the little feet you clip because they don't impact anything like PCB mount do.
