Which to learn??
>>
doesn't matter, both are deprecated
>>
React is more lightweight.
It just provides HTML templating. Angular 2 is some kind of all-round carefree package in comparison.

But I found working with Angular 2 and Angular 4 felt like cancer.

React + Redux is superior imo.
>>
First learn JavaScript, HTML and CSS

Then when it's time to choose a framework, I would personally choose Angular because google and stuff
>>
>>61255721
Neither.

Both are for Pajeet-tier code monkeys who work on skins around databases.

If you must, use raw HTML, it works on all of your favorite darknet child porn sites. Progressively enhance that shit with vanilla JS.

When will front-end web hipsters ever learn?
>>
React because it is more comfy and better overall.

Angular is pos made by google pajeets so they can report they are working on someting. Also remeber Angular1 fiasco. It will happen again, just matter of time.
>>
>>61255721
both are javas(h)hcri(p)t and will disappear in 1 year, like all other javascript frameworks

learn a decent one and leave the web
>>
>>61255721
angular because it's an actual solution to the shitfest that is JS application development

react is a real nice templating engine but you have to cobble all sorts of other pajeet libs together to actually get anything working
>>
>>61255721
MithrilJs
>>
>>61256736
God why did I forget about mithril.
>>
>>61255721
Jquery
>>

This.
Even if they aren't now, they'll be in a few months.
>>
neither, save yourself
>>
Vue
>>
>>61255721
both, but I would favor react for personal projects
>>
>>61256044
such an ignorant claim. neither will disappear in this decade
>>
>>61255721
Vue
>>
>>61255721
both are garbage. both are gonna go out of fashion soon.
>>
What the hell is JavaScript's problem? Is any other language as fractured, with a billion frameworks all trying to do the same thing?
>>
>>61258945

unfortunately React will remain for a very long time
>>
Angular 1, which is just now getting adopted by larger companies so expect to see some new positions for it after fall
>>
>>61255990
Google stuff sucks though. Why would you say that? Angular is way too heavy.

Also their java libraries are poorly organized and too heavy. Look at apache org's java libraries if you want to see how it should be done.

>Is any other language as fractured, with a billion frameworks all trying to do the same thing?
any other language does not have as its target a platform that changes at such astronomical pace
>>
React and Redux are terrific. Then you can start managing your API calls, events, and loading with Observables through Rxjs. Then you can code-split your code with Webpack. So much cool shit
>>
>>61258984
>unfortunately React will remain for a very long time
LOL... no JS framework lasted more than 18 months. they're always replaced. there's a new JS framework out ever week.
>>
>>61255721

Use React with TypeScript, Redux and RxJS.
>>
>>61259449
react has been released 39 months ago
>>
>>61260611
it's backed by FB. that's why it's been around for so long but its old age only means it doesn't have much time left.
>>

>>
>>61260965
it's called statistics. look it up brainlet.
>>
>>61261013
please point me to the statistics showing that react will die soon
>>
>>61255721
Angular is like having your testicles cut of with a rusty knife and have them shoved up your ass.

React is like snorting a drug that tastes like vomit feels like lava and makes you ejaculate fire ants where every squirt is a part of your soul.

Pick the one which sounds the most pleasurable of these two.
>>
jQuery
>>
>>61256004
This. People come to create pages already using frameworks even not knowing if its necessary or not.

Me: I'll checkout /g/ for some insightful chat about my profession of web development.

>Nevermind. This is still 4chan afterall.
>>
>>61257103
Oh yeah? What is going to take their place?
>>
>>61255721
Neither. Working as a JS developer made me want to kill myself.
