No he was a new transfer so he got a new company laptop. But none of the accessories we have at the office work with it. People have two choices when they join: MBP or Thinkpad. This is the first time someone has gotten a brand new MBP with no USB ports.

Its IT that screwed up -- they should have known there aren't any thunderbolt docks/accessories available right away so either they should have added them to his laptop or told him to get a different model.
