Need help deciding between two laptops to purchase.
Dell XPS 13, or Inspiron 15.
Both are i7-7500U. I can get twice as much drive space and RAM with the Inspiron, but the XPS has 3200x1800 on a 13 inch display, which I really like, and it's more portable.

>I really like the other one better
Fuck you dude, just pick the one you like the best.

That's the problem.
I need an objective party to tell me I'm a dumbfuck and to get the better option.

>objective party
>4chan
Yeah, no, go fuck yourself.

You can almost always upgrade RAM and HDD on a laptop later, buy you cant upgrade the screen.
Get the XPS with the better screen.

4k might be a wee bit much for that processor.
I'd get the 13” 1080P XPS senpai

Is UHD really noticeably better than FHD?
>>61242532
>upgradeable
>Portable
>Thin
Pick two fuccboi

Don't fall for the retena display meme. You're gonna have to increase font size to make the screen readable on 4k 13". Not worth the bullshit.
What size monitor are you using now? Screen resolution? Do you see pixels constantly?
>>61242559
Yeah, it is.

I currently use a 27 inch monitor on my desktop but I need a laptop for school and work - something I can use reliably throughout grad school.
>>61242607
>>61242695
And yeah, I have good enough eyesight to see pixelation almost all the time.
>>61242559

It's not 4k, at a 200% scaling it will look like a comfortable and sharp 1600x900 screen, which is pretty good for a small 13 inch laptop
the xps 15 is 4k

Wait for fuckin Raven Ridge you cockup. You're buying at pretty much the worst time possible.
