>"not-a-bug"
It's a feature, right? HAHAHA
Not even Microsoft is that retarded
I can't wait till the day systemd gets ported to FreeBSD and OpenBSD
>>61216067
Thanks Red sHat
>>61216138
Who even cares? Let the BSD drones live in their little fantasy world. They aren't big enough to hurt anyone and some interesting things come out of their developers every once in a while.
>use Windows 10
>use Bitlocker
>use Windows Defender
feels good
>>61216184
Same could be said about the Linux desktop meme
>>61216138
it won't, since it uses linux features like inotify namespaces and cgroups
>>61216203
>use botnet
I'm not really against of systemd for any other reason than the fact that poettering is a manchild cunt. Somebody should fork the project..
>>61216184
>BSD drones
>drones
Said the Linux user.
>>61216231
>voluntary cooperation
>somehow it's (((communism)))
Grab a book Jamal
>>61216211
at least they fix bugs as soon as they get known
>>61216207
>>61216231
Eh, I really don't mean the users so much as douchebags like Theo and a couple of other loudmouths.
>all this poettering shilling
>>61216244
>implying that working for free whilst ((( other people ))) profit off your work isn't exactly exactly what Communism is
Also, ((( Richard Stallman )))
Changing the definitions of words like "freedom" is exactly what ((( they ))) do. It's not freedom, it's inherently statist, controlling and destroys freedom. Co-operation shouldn't be forced by law (Forced open source), it should be free and voluntary association.
>>61216296
I was talking about Open source software, which indeed is voluntary cooperation, I completely agree on you statement of (((RMS))), he is a communist, in a Linux Action Show podcast he stated that he would forcefully stop people from writing closed source software if he could.
>>61216326
Neat. I guess we can be friends.
>>61216379
The podcast I was talking about:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=radmjL5OIaA
He basically goes into all the points.
>Don't have children goy, it's bad for muh environment
>Private property is inmoral
>I want to coerce people so they do as I say
>everything is relative goy, don't bother with moral standards
>>61216405
Amazing. Thanks
>>61216138
>>61216184
They'll most likely get a port of MacOS launchd.
Hope they enjoy their XML
>>61216296
In Communism, the story is that everyone benefits from a combined effort. The truth is, it's usually the control group who benefits. This, so called, group, doesn't exist in Linux, so you can't really make that claim. Communism involves member exclusivity, Linux does not care who the fuck uses their products or why.
>>61216296
found the ancap retard
>>61216296
Please kill yourself
>>61216296
>>61216405
Stallman is not Linux, though. He contributes nothing to the Linux Foundation. He doesn't represent Linux, he simply uses Linux as a discussion piece to push his ideals. Yes,years ago, he contributed the GNU part of Linux, but at this point in time, he may as well be considered a fanboy with his own vision of how things should be. I'm not knocking the guy, he has valid concerns, but his approach to things can be a little over the top at times.
>>61216067
you are retarded
Pottering is right.
ls root doesn't werk either..
Is that a bug?
Fucking retards shitting up the bug tracker with their derp.
>>61216138
Won't happen. SystemD is GPL.
Linux can't into 0day usernames
>>61216973
He doesn't know what is he talking about.
LDAP, which is de-facto standart, pretty much everywhere, allow username starting with digits. Giving them root is not normal. And I'm sure there are lots of similar examples.
SystemD is holey trash, mainly because of Pottering arrogance.
>>61217903
>standart
German detected. Fuck off, Poettering.
Somebody in the other thread proposed using pic related as a meme. At this point might as well
>>61217918
Miss.
>>61217903
>SystemD is holey trash, mainly because of Pottering arrogance.
true
>So, yeah, I don't think there's anything to fix in systemd here.
>>61216203
botnet: the post
>>61216496
It's about ownership of means of production stupid
>>61216067
>when systemd/Linux devs don't use their own operating system
Where were you when Linux users were revealed to be clowns?
>>61218804
What makes a username not valid?
>>61219176
it is valid
>>61219176
If it breaks systemD it's not valid
>>61219242
> "investigative journalist"
> "specialized on information war"
Nyt vittu oikeesti.
How can those "journalists" be so out of touch? Or is that blond trolling?
