I know. My R9 290 died (probably from being run a 95c for a few years. Never realized my case was a fucking oven with no airflow. Issue has been fixed now as you can see, went with a D15 cooler and stuffed 10 Noctua fans in the case. Ice cold now. I'm hoping with my 8350 at 4.5ghz the bottleneck won't be too bad. What do you think?

As you can see I had to glue sinks to the vrm with a fan over to even get this mild overclock. Anything over 4.4ghz (130w powerdraw) and the vrm throttled.
I overclocked the ram to 2133 10-10-10-24-1T aswell.

Pretty banging board for the price.

That's fine. Though if those games aren't fully loading your CPU it doesn't say how high it might go, or what noise you're dealing with. I mean if you're running a shit fan profile on a shit cooler and we're talking 65C at 100% fan and it sounds like a hair dryer... then it's not in the same league as my 212 EVO keeping my 4790 at 61C encoding all day with the fan at idle.

Sounds like you're good for cooling. I don't even have my fans set to ramp until 68C (which is why it's still at idle at 61C,) 65C and silent is still great as far as I'm concerned.
