Ok, I've never had a phone in my life, let alone a smartphone.

I live in the UK and can spend around £200-£300, maybe more if it's a very good phone. I just want it to play music, have a good battery life and be generally pretty sturdy. I'm pretty surprised that most smartphones cost alot more than a decent computer, so I'd rather make a good cheap purchase that lasts a while.

Lets say I want a smaller phone and lets say that there is practically only one choice on the market. Is it worth to wait for the next compact phone (hoping for it to be a similarily specced midranger with a sd 660 for example) or should I just go for the current compact which features a shitty glossy plastic back?

Are fake/non-apple iPhone 6 screens a common thing?

I bought a used iPhone 6 from Amazon, and they said it had the battery and screen replaced. The battery life is shit which is to be expected of aftermarket batteries, but I didn't expect the screen to be shit too. It looks fine when things are still, but when you try and scroll it has a huge amount of motion blur, like a badly made PLS/IPS monitor.

My battery has shit itself (it appears so at least, I'm getting those random reboots and boot loops). No surprise here, it's 3 years old and I've read they usually survive 1 year.

This is the problem I'm having with my g3, if anyone can confirm it's battery related and not the mobo (running fulmics 7.5)
- The phone freezes for a couple seconds and then reboots, most of the times entering boot loop showing the lg logo, then shutting off, then lg logo etc
- Sometimes I get boot certification error or kernel crash, which I think and hope its caused by voltage spikes during boot up caused by the effective battery
- Phone works fine 95% of the time when connected to the wall charger, sometimes it still reboots
- Recovery works perfectly, have tried bumping kernel and reflashing firmware
Any help is GREATLY appreciated
