I bought an Asus K53Z, some chinkydink Asus laptop, back in 2012ish.
It has an AMD A4, 4 Gigs of ram, 250GB, an HD display, and a full keyboard w/ numpad (keys on the numpad are skinny-tall so offset is MINIMAL). Only thing it lacks is a point stick and the Thinkpad build quality.
Guess what it cost me, 290 and yet it beats out just about every new 2017 laptop I see on Amazon. I wouldn't buy the K53Z today but it goes to show how SHIT laptop manufactures have become.
