So I run LineageOS without gApps. Some apps of course say they need Google Play Services to function. But I recently downloaded Protonmail mobile app through Yalp store and it works fine besides the initial popup message saying I need Play Services.


My questions is are all of these apps just saying they need Google Play Services or what? I'm about to open a Schwab checking account and I need the mobile app to work for depositing checks and stuff.

Can someone give me an idea of roughly the timings/voltages I'd be looking at using to get 4.0Ghz on the cpu and 2666mhz-2933Mhz on the ram?

The QVL for this mobo says the LPX ram i have should get 2933 with these settings
15-17-17-35 1.35V 3000 DOCP2933
but i can't get it to post with this.

I did manage a stable overclock of 4.0Ghz with just a 0.03V CPU core offset but I don't know an upper and lower limit on the cpu voltage i should expect.

ps. I know things vary chip to chip,board to board, however there is an acceptable/expected window and I'd like to know expected results.

How do I comfortably use a second monitor?

I have 3 monitors right now: Monitor 1, Monitor 2, TV. Last one is only needed if I want to watch a movie, monitor 2 is intended for streams, programming maybe.
Is there a way to control the monitors comfortably? Right now my mouse just moves to the next monitor if I move it to the right and that is annoying. It would be nice if I had to press a button for it to be able to go to the next screen, otherwise acting as if I only had one monitor.

I need help. I installed an ssd on my pc and put windows 7 on it but now when I boot my pc, my pc uses the ssd as the primary storage device. Only when I disconnect it does it go back to using my hard drive with all my data on it. I only want to put my games on the ssd so that they can load faster.

Has anyone here used Embarcadero RAD Studio? I just installed it and i cant get a basic c++ project to run properly. I have a button and a label, and when the button is clicked, the label text should change from whatever is default to "Hello World!".
But when i run it, the label text changes when the button is clicked, but when mouse leaves the button it changes back to the default value, and also while the button is pressed it has the default value.
Any help would be much appreciated.

I can't upgrade my damn kernel on arch.
If I install a new one, something just fucks up. I hang on loading X, it seems. If I go to another tty and log-in, the uname -r is still the kernel version of the old kernel.
I can just install the old kernel and it'll boot again, no dice with an upgraded one, though.

I have a 144Hz refresh rate monitor and a regular Samsung TV (60Hz I guess).

I like to occasionally use the TV as my monitor when I'm chilling on the couch. The thing is, whenever I plug it in, it kills the refresh rate on my monitor (I think it gets capped at the same rate as the TV when I have both hooked up to the PC)

Is there any way I can keep both plugged in mirrored desktop mode while retaining the refresh rate on my monitor? I can unplug the TV HDMI when it's not in use, but I'd like to keep it plugged in if it's possible.

Is there another extension for multiposting that isn't 4chanX? I used to do storytimes on /co/ frequently, and in the more recent times, 4chanX randomly froze at 1 sec before posting sometimes, meaning I had to reload the page to continue; and I also couldn't make new threads with it, so I had to disable it and then re-enable it to do the storytimes.

I could get around that by just a few clicks, it was kinda annoying, but manageable. The thing is, in the last few days, every single image I wanted to post was met with a "[filename]: Corrupt image or error reading metadata." pop-up, and while I can post regular images one by one, even with the message, trying to set-up an auto posting for a storytime was always met with none of the images loading; and so I couldn't do some shit that I had in schedule for the weekend.

1) when you want to get RAM that's, say, 1600MHz, do you need to get 800MHz RAM and run them in dual channel mode? Or do you need to find 1600MHz RAM? Speed listings are so confusing sometimes, and I can't find ANYTHING about how speed changes between single and dual channel RAM.

2) will an SSD help alleviate limited system memory? Say a PC can't accept more RAM, would adding an SSD be a last resort to free up memory faster?

What's the equivalent of phase inversion for lossy sound files? The phase information is often discarded so it doesn't work, or it only removes some frequencies. I know you can generate a spectrogram from both, then use simple algebra to subtract the color values, then turn the spectrogram back into audio, but is there an easier way?

Also, is there something like phase inversion for isolating the common parts of 2 audio files?
Say you have access to 2 files, A and B.
A is X and C mixed together.
B is X and D mixed together.
How do you isolate X given A and B?

Speed doesn't change with dual channel at all. What you're thinking of is possibly double data rate, the clock speed (which is what some software measures) runs at half the data rate, for example 1600MHz rated DDR3 uses a clock signal at 800MHz.

Does anyone know how much I am missing put by not upgrading to Windows 10 and having a i7 7700k? Obviously this thing is designed for Windows 10 but I just hate the idea of being spied on so badly, AFAIK it won't even work with Linux properly.

I have absolutely no knowledge in lua, and after googling around, nothing was accomplished except my head hurting. Is there a layman's guide on how to do this crap? All I need is a single line of code to convert a single file. This is written in a later post.

Well, partner, that's what I did. Unfortunately, most of these results are about compiling images together to make a video, where I want to go straight from video to video. Now, I have found a few example commands, but they do not function properly.

Results in a time lapse video, but it remains the length of the original video.

My goal here is efficiency. I'm not looking for a multi-step process of extracting frames then putting them back together for a new video. I have not found out how after a bit of searching, which is why I asked here.
