Actually no.
I do incremental backups every 60 minutes and one FULL Backup a day
Get on my level OP
>>61187762
I don't do backups because I literally have nothing worth backing up
tru
backing up now.
I backup to external HDD every few days and to DVD every month or so. I'd be using Tape too but sadly the drive is broken.
My data is backed up continuously to the cloud
>>61187762
I don't back up my data, because if I lose it all, I'll just kill myself.

I used to think like this. Then I lost all my pictures, music, and videos. It's so hard to find Korean media that's even a year old.
>>61187762
I don't have a working floppy drive anymore.
>>61187762
I use time machine, it backs up stuff for me.

"Backing up" you data is a ploy by media manufacturers. What happens when you have several terabytes of storage? Well, you have to buy it twice, so you have a backup, of course. But you really need to have a second backup, stored offsite. So you should buy three times as much storage as you need. And since you don't want to cobble together a bunch of drives, you better upgrade to the largest single drives you can afford every few months, or at least every year.

How does /g/ backup? I just do incremental file backups with grsync to a spare HDD at the moment.
>>61188525 You can use mememachine for remote backups too. Vps with 1+tb of storage + netatalk + amahi + openvpn tap
