For just NES emulation or for up to a certain console, other shit, what tier of hardware do you need?

If its NES only, you can get away with a raspberry Pi Zero and a few adapters, if youre talking Wii levels of emulation, youre going to need a lot more.

Right off the bat my first idea for media center + old games is an AM1 system, athlon 5350, gt 740 and 8gb of ram will handle anything from Super Mario Bros to CS:GO
