The 1070 and especially the 1080 (???) are far better "bang for buck" currently due to the cryptocurrency bubble. It's actually absurd.

The 1070 and 1080 will resell much better in a few years than the 1060, recouping the price difference - or you can hold on to the card longer to begin with than a 1060.

You will be able to handle any future tougher 1080p scenarios better and can let you handle 1080p 144hz if you go down that path.
