It has started to become clear that miners are ruining the market as such I think all GPU manufacturers should do something to solve this. They are driving up prices to the point of killing other more diverse markets, and they are reselling broken cards and damaging consumer trust.
As such I would propose a twopronged solution. First all GPU manufacturers should create revision of their cards that permanently mark themselves as mining cards the instant they are used for mining.
Additionally all newer cards should have either a method of destroying their silicon or a deep mechanical method of preventing consumer cards from mining.
Finally All GPU manufacturers should release commercial grade only miner cards. With Commercial tiered pricing so lowest cost atleast $1000. these cards will have no block or devices to destroy themselves if they mine. They will also lack Video output in order to protect the consumer
If you are mining you are part of a commercial enterprise. The industry needs to treat them like it and governments need to treat them like it and go after their reckless tax evasory asses.
install gentoo
eventually (sooner rather than later) difficulty will increase and it won't make sense to use GPUs anymore

it's not happening fast enough. miner scum needs to be ended rightly lololol
Thats bs

You MUST pay capital gains tax kid. If you are doing this on an industrial scale you should be treated and taxed like an industry
>>61162744
>should be treated and taxed
It should, in a perfect world where bitcoins are used as a currency for public sector expenses. In this world, however, nothing in the public sector is paid for with bitcoins so there's no use in taxing the bitcoins produced by mining.

trading a grown or physically mined good like wheat or coal and then trading it does not make it into currency.
"crypto currency" is a manufactured trade-able good.
As such it is subject to all taxes any industry as such is.
Even swapping currency is subject to gaion as such it is taxable.
YOU ARE BREAKING THE LAW IF YOU FAIL TO BAY TAXES
Republican fucks who think they don't need to pay taxes can get fucked.

A lot of the new currencies are explicitly designed to provide anonymity, expressly for the purpose of keeping out the prying eyes of the tax man (and the lawman). If the government has no real way to know about your transactions they have no real way to enforce tax laws. A law that can't be enforced is pretty much just moot. It's autistic screeching from politicians and bureaucrats.

not good enough it needs to be enterprise grade and consumer cards need to brick themselves and form a giant red dot or completely melt their silican or else reee
