How much meme is OpenSUSE?
I consider replacing my Arch Linux installation with this distribution.
Most bloated with shit distro out there. Stay clear.
I think it might be pretty cool. I'm also thinking about moving to suse
It's good for the most part.
Nvidia drivers are fucky in Tumbleweed though.

Piece of shit distro with a buggy package manager.

But hey, I heard you can choose what components to install during installation. If I want only WM I don't need KDE and Gnome, so it shouldn't be so bloated. Anyone here using OpenSUSE with WM? How much bloat is there?

>buggy package manager
it's a meme, zypper is the best RPM-based package manager out there, only pacman can beat it

I tried the KDE live version and wasn't particularly impressed. It had only KDE applications, installing something took way too long for my taste. Yast has so much shit going on it gave me a headache and I personally couldn't get used to the package manager.

One reason OP should consider replacing opensuse with arch, instead of the other way around.
The best thing you can do is install by yourself and say us what differences have with your previous os.
To me, there is no need to install others distro since 2007 aprox.
Tumbleweed is a rolling release, so expect bugs with less than a two weeks patches. Leap is most stable periodically released version with nvidia repo support.
Write your appreciations

isn't it kinda pointless to rip YAST out of it though
