Iiyama Vision Master Pro 7. Very beautiful image, and it supports sync-on-green so I could connect SGI hardware to it if I wanted.

dell s2716dg 144hz tn with gsync

though i use it in ulmb mode (strobing backlights) 120hz, gsync a shit. ulmb makes the image crystal clear even in motion, i hope this becomes standard at some point.
i jizz every time i play ut4
>>
Acer XF270HU
IPS, 1440p, 144Hz, the holy trinity. Also has Freesync but I have an Nvidia card. Oh well, it was three hundred dollars less than the Gsync one, Gsync isn't worth that much to me.
>>
my BenQ PV3200PT arrived today. what a beast
>>
>>61153858
Yeah I have a 1024x768 CRT
Werks great
>>
L220x
1920x1200 VA panel. Excellent color, no PWM flicker, good angles, extremely adjustable base (I used portrait mode for projects sometimes). 10 years old and still gud. Found a mint condition spare for $100 last year.

I can not put up with TN panels and I have shit luck on the IPS glow lottery.
>>
>>61153858
I use an old 720p TV because I'm a poor college student and it werks
>>
>>61154210
Great taste. You should get a 1600x1200 though, that's the ultimate resolution.

I know I actually want a 1080p CRT but those are super rare nowadays.
>>
>>61154241
Oh right, and it letterboxes instead of stretches at non-native resolutions.

I've literally only had to do that twice, but it was a nice perk.
>>
>>61153858
4K 60Hz IPS with FreeSync as my main monitor, it's pretty good. I'm waiting for those 4K 144Hz screens which are supposed to be out this year.
>>
>>61153858
ThinkVision LT2452p offers all I need, its 16:10 and IPS and good adjustments

I don't need 144hz gaymer shit myself so I'd say my monitor is good, for me
>>
Three shitty old HP x23LEDs, leftmost is vertical, middle is horizontal, rightmost is vertical.

>But anon, how do you have three screens on an arm when they don't have VESA mounts?

It's a secret.
>>
>>61153858
I have a question for you goys with those large resolutions(over 2k)
For what are you actually using the screen?
I know browsing the internet on these is pain in the ass.
Gaming is justifable but pointless.
Even watching movies seems a bit of a hassle.
Uncompressed movies are like 50 GB in 4k.
>>
>>61154390
I personally think higher DPIs are disgusting. It feels uncomfortable to not be able to see the individual pixels, at least on aliased stuff like pixelart.

>Impeccable
What did they mean by this
>>
>>61153858
Of course. There's no better resolution than 1440x900.
>>
>>61153858
that comparison between 60 and 120hz is ridiculous
>>
>>61154423
The only actual use for a 4k resolution would be to have a 40 inch monitor and use it for monitoring the network.
The problem is that you could buy few 1080p monitors for that price which would be even more useful.

Less Hertz more blur.
It's a fact.

I found a 19" 1600x1200 on the side of the road. Just need to clean it up a bit.
>>
>>61154579
Lucky bastard, I can't believe people are throwing away CRTs nowadays.
Even if they are listed for sell they don't even mention the resolution.
>>
>>61154526
Technically they're right, a faster refresh rate is the easiest way to reduce motion blur outside of just using a CRT. To reduce it further you have to get into other features like overdrive and backlight strobing like Lightboost and ULMB.

Yeah. I still use my old 23" 1080p/60hz Acer TN monitor that was released in 2010 (cost like 120$ back then and it's unironically the best monitor I have used. I used a benq 144hz panel for a while but it had shit colors, shade banding and whatnot. Then I used an Eizo IPS monitor which cost like 400$ and it had horrible IPS glow so I ultimate switched back to the Acer.

Monitor technology really needs to go forward.

Is the ThinkVision X24 worth it for 40% off? https://support.lenovo.com/fi/sv/solutions/pd100743

Can get it for 159€ this weekend as opposed to 259€. Would probably use it as my main monitor now but might make it my secondary when I buy a new PC in a few months.
>>
>>61156356

I'd get the l24q instead. Uses the 1440p 24" panel, and all monitors of that size and res use more or less the same panel, you know it's good

I use a 50" LG plasma as my primary monitor.

Con:
-Image retention/termporary burn in
-1080p
-59.9hz

PRO:
-better color reproduction than 99% of your monitors
-deepest blacks
-soft, realistic image (makes AA almost redundant even at 1080p)
-extreme viewing angles
-pretty good input lag and response time desu
-doubles as cinema screen

Waiting on OLED 144hz 4k now for my next upgrayd
>>
The cheapest lcd monitor in the whole Radiio Shack. Fucker refuses to die.
Acer 22" 1680x1050
>>
Using some Acer 24' 59hz monitor I bought back in 2011. It's a pretty nice one, can't really complain other than no VESA mount at the back. Will probably upgrade closer to the end of the year.
>>
Trying to decide on Asus MG28UQ or PB287Q
anyone have advice?
>>
I'm still using an Acer G235h my mom bought my like seven years ago. Still works fine. No dead pixels. Can't complain. The colors are shit though, and it's only 60hz
>>
>>61153858
i got a 144hz but it's complete pointless for anything other than old games because i have a 5 year old entry-level graphics card. at least it looks cool when i move my mouse cursor and windows around
>>
>>61153858
720p of a thinkpad. Just werks.
