One port isn't a big deal, been using one for months now and I haven't been bothered by it but I live in a house with WiFi and network storage so moving files from devices is easy that way. I FUCKING LOVE the keyboard on this thing. Its a huge matter of opinion and you can't really say that its just all out bad. The speed and precision at which I type on it is the same if not better than my desktops keyboard and that's fucking impressive considering the size of the machine. As long as you don't plan on using it like a pro then it is great, and in no way is it bad because it isn't a pro or air. The machine truly inhabits a tiny little niche but it fills it so fucking well that I literally am begging you to sit down and try one out for an hour if you get the chance. For dicking around at home on the couch, playing small or older games, and general portability and socially acceptable ease of use, the Macbook is a stunner.

Thinkpads have a wonderful 4:3 display that is comfortable for most applications. Dell and HP offer the latest and hardware with enough juice to run heavy duty applications and performance that exceeds even desktop.

Macs are flawed by design housing inferior and outdated hardware at twice the cost. When you have an organization to run, cost is everything.

Even from a personal point of view, a less expensive laptop that can run Windows/Linux without binding you to OSX ecosystem is desirable as organizations use SAP and other custom built applications across their offices.

I have one in space grey.

I'm a web dev and designer and I run a few servers with lots of virtual hosts and other shit.

The new macbook is a perfect mobile machine for me.

Plenty of power and the battery goes all day.

I can hack the retina display for awesome resolution.

Keyboard is awesome. Anyone who disagrees thinks chinklet keyboards with clits for mice are better.

Track pad and speakers are amazing.

Need to plug in 30 things at once on an ultra portable? Get adapters for the USB C on Amazon, the Apple one stinks anyway.

I tried typing on these at a store. Absolutely unusable.
