>find a great tv from 2014 online, store has multiple in stock
>tell myself that I'll buy one when I get out of work the next day
>leave it in my check out bin because the online store functions on retail hours
>get out of work the next day
>forget about the tv
>remember just now
>go to order it
>item not in my check out bin
>can't find it ont he website
>search through my history to find it
>big red "DISCONTINUED" right next to the TV
Welp, time to kill myself. Literally the only good non smartshit TV that I could find and I fucked it all up and lost it forever. Guess I'll just stick with my 720p 2009 sanyo tv until it dies.
Anybody else have /g/ shopping horror stories?
>Monday before Black Friday
>Two 50% reduced shotguns due to easily corrected or ignored defects
>Hem and haw for 5 minutes wondering if I should wait for the Black Friday sale
>Buy them because fuck no I am missing these prices
>Check back Friday
>Both are out of stock
>Would have only saved an extra 30$ total anyways
You dun goofed.
>internet is supposed to be up to 24Mbps
>never is, and connection is spotty too
>try to downgrade plan to save money
>claim they need to charge a $99 installation fee even though I already have the router working
what the fuck is this jewish bullshit
>try to buy something that is on sale
>expected to sell out really fast once the sale begins
>internet shits on me and slows down to a crawl
>by the time it speeds back up the shit I wanted was sold out
Yeah, it blows. Through some sliver of a miracle I was going to talk to them about the tv in question and see what was up. They didn't even say it was out of stock, they just randomly discontinued selling it despite having a bunch of tv's available. I was hoping to talk to someone but the live chat is ded till tomorrow morning.
