In the same boat as OP.
Ordered a new processor, motherboard, memory, drive, and power supply during the newegg sales. Basically a new PC minus what I have.
The only thing I didn't grab was an OS. Now I can either buy the reliable windows 7 again or I can get windows 10 for DX12 and go on a debloating adventure.

It's alright if you don't mind the tracking stuff. There's going to be a more polished hack within the next few months to disable it, or you can just use the Enterprise edition (if you have access to it).
