I'm looking for some headphones for my brother, I don't even know if he cares about music anymore but he used to live for it.

Was gonna buy the Sony mdr, but they sold out. Are these on par or better?

I tried ESW9s once and liked them a lot better desu

Would have considered the ESW9-LTDs but I am not a fan of the flimsy looking cables

I already have the far superior m50x and hm5 brainwavz angled pads. I'm in heaven

I just got them this week, they're pretty good. For some reason they hurt my right ear a little bit at first but after wearing them a few times I adjusted them to a point where they feel really comfy. I'm not an audiophile so I won't bother talking about the sound but they're leaps above anything I've ever used before.
