So i tried out Win10 on my laptop, and when I was trying it out, I dont know if it's the new OS still downloading and updating everything on my laptop, but the battery life felt like it got shorter so I have to keep my laptop charged the whole time while using it, has anyone else experienced this ? Also it seemed kind of buggy and slow at times. I went back to 8.1 but now im getting the notifcation saying "its free for a limited time" , should i just bite the bullet and upgrade? I use my laptop everyday for school and such, and i use it during class and dont want it dying on me in the middle of lecture.

2. disable everything in windows updates through both the services and the group policy

So I just "upgraded" to 10 last night. Worked fine, until I shut the thing down. After reboot, the thing freezes about a minute after login. I'm being forced to chan in safe mode right now.
