They're ok headphones, I was about to pull the trigger but decided not to, and bought ath anc9 instead.
If you listen to music with lots of vocals you're good, any modern genre will sound like shit and extremely boring.

was thinking about sennheisers then I ordered v6s instead anon

1 I've never tried them before so I don't have an idea of sennheisers.

2 I didn't want to pay 100 bucks

3 I already have mdr 7506s and actually wanted to get 7506s again for backup but when I saw v6s was 50 bucks I just went for them.

I like natural sounding headphones but I already have enough speakers, amps and headphones. this one was just a backup and I wanted to compare v6s to 7506s too.

598s are pretty efficient and motherboard sound is so much better than it used to be. I have a pair of HD600s and only got a small improvement going from onboard ALC892 to an O2. Sure the improvement is there but it's hardly unlistenable without it.
