Is the 100m distance in an open area? If it is I would use wifi, directional antennas and a cheap used netbook. Set up mumble on it..

How about optical? Like laser, but this sounds like a big hassle. Otherwise just slap some shit on two rp0's and use 2.4 ghz modules.
Or directional wifi antennas. I did this for ip cameras, worked quite well and is easy to setup on an android environment.
