What tech items are on your Christmas list?
>>51532067
Why not get them on black friday/cyber monday?
>>51532239
Why do that when OP can make his parents do it?
>>51532067
Chromecast on a fucking "Christmas list"?
I bought the new one with fucking random pocket change, because I wanted the second generation, even thought I have the first Chromecast.
Do you work at fucking Mc'Donald's?
>>51532489
How do you like it?
A gf
>>51532489
yes, would you like fries with that?
>>51532067
I dunno but I am thinking about getting my facebook-core mom a chromebook.
>>51532489
What changes with the 2nd gen?
>>51532489

This
I just want some companionship
>>51532489
We don't all come from the suburbs and trust fund families.
>>51532489
Because some people have families that need to be told what to get you so you don't end up with garbage. Not everyone asks their family for gifts that cost hundreds of dollars either.
>>51532941
I want some IRL friends to hang out with...
>>51532067
Two of these.
U2414h seems like the thinnest bezel I can find at a reasonable price, so yeah.
C-Clothes
>>51535417
We always do a weird/unique gift exchange.
My dad got us all chocolate guns one year. It was hilarious.
I'm glad I value family time over stuff.
>>51532489
No, we're not poor so if we wanted something we'd just buy it for ourselves. do you have to wait until christmas to be able to afford things?
>>51532067
I bought 2x 64gb UHS-3 microSDs in preparation for Marshmallow updates and a Amazon Fire Stick with voice remote($25 and $35 thanks to early black friday sales)
Still looking to buy an nvidia shield k1 tablet to replace my nexus 7 and nvidia shield tv for dat 4k streaming
None. All tech related purchases are done by this month.
Christmas spending on food/drinks for a merry good time. God bless.
Pebble time
>Been selling old shit so that I have some spare cash to buy myself a nice tech present, maybe a new mech keyboard or headphones
>realise the stuff I have already is fine and I'm just trying to fill an empty space
>don't bother buying anything after all

I'm not an impulsive buyer.
I don't believe in buying useless stuff just because I have money. Even if I have money now I could have some accident and have to spend it on a broken car park, or some medical bill or shit, so I put away all I can.
Hence, I limit my spending to special occasions and good deals, if it's not something urgent, like responsible people do.
Buying the shiny new toy is a child-like behaviour, and being proud of it is even worse.
Grow up.
Which $25 streaming device should I get? Roku SE (is that just a rebranded Roku 1?) or a fire stick?
>>51538992
Fire stick has the best specs and the most variety of services on it, and youtube reviews looks the smoothest in performance, I'd say get that one
>>51539156
I looked more into them and will probably just get both. Roku SE for old analog tv in the garage, and a fire stick for traveling. Or do you guys just take the slightly bigger boxes?
>>51537814
I've got one. It's nice.
>>51532067
>be australian
>cast2 not released here
FFS, looks like a cast1 for my bedroom telly then.
>>51532067
HONESTLY. I'm thinking of copping an iphone you can't use those on prepaid t mobile tho can you?
This, I have really gotten in to fighting games lately
>>51538992
First gen Chromecast
>>51539627
Why would you buy that POS when the fire stick and many other HDMI media sticks are all on black friday sales online?
>>51538108
Also forgot, picked up a 1TB sandisk SSD for $220 on the first day of Amazon sales
Just got the msi 390 for $255 after sale+promo+rebate
>>51532239
That's when Christmas shopping IS done you fucking idiot.
>>51537814
What's their refresh rate on these? I can't seem to find it.
>>51539925
60.
>>51538153
There's people who spend Christmas-designated money after Black Friday? Way to waste your money, regardless of any shenanigans with markups during black Friday that might happen, it doesn't even compare to the huge markups you'd be paying buying anything afterwards.
>>51532777
Same
HP Elitebook with an i5 and 12GB RAM, 1TB HDD, and a 1GB FirePro card (Not into gaymen, but I do want to do some rendering for 3D printing etc)
The original version of this elitebook back in 2011 was $6500, but the more recent version was only like $2300, but I can get one for $419
A new mouse, preferably the Razer Deathadder Chroma.
Along with a new microphone.
>>51537814
