ITT: 0/10 software
anything that is open source
>>51528804
every toolbar. period.
>>51528834
why do we come here if we are against proprietary software/websites/javascript?
>>51528777
Itunes
>>51528777
what's so bad about tixati other than being closed source. It's the only one with a decent portable version. given I rarely torrent anything and delete it after I used it.
>>51529021
it's banned by every single private tracker
>>51529041
Then whats good?
>>51528777
>>51528960
what is this, 2007?
>>51528777
>>51529021
>other than being closed source
That makes it 0/10 right there
>>51529099
it's 0/10 software :-)
>>51529066
nothing. even utorrent is better than it.
>>51529086
Good job buddy! You're fitting in seamlessly!
>>51529138
what would be a good portable one that isn't on portableapps and doesn't leave behind orphans.
People got insane over this.
>>51529118
>>51528977
most image boards have the same base design, right?
>>51528977
Because freetards are too blind by distractions to realize how much of our world is behind copyright. Used your microwave lately? What time is it anon? Bet you have a digital clock violating your "freedoms"

the capture thingie it comes with is pretty good man.
>>51528777
Open source, GNU/Linux, and Microsoft's software.
Apple has nice hardware...Google has better software and hardware.
>>51529041
Why? Seriously, I want to know.
>>51529109
This should not be here. Chrome and Chrome OS are great.
>>51529400
This
>it's just like photoshop
given the fact that it crashes when you try to use custom brushes and takes an eon to start back up its nothing like photoshop
>muh open source
Buy creative cloud you nigger
>>51530160
It's literally worthless. There are other programs like OBS with far more comprehensive NVENC recording, and that's just talking about hardware accelerated recording which everyone knows sucks donkey dick. Real men record to a lossless format and encode later.
>>51529400
Came for this
Asus router firmware.
>>51530244
I see you're unfamiliar with NetComm.
>>51529400
The only thing worse is Inkscape
>>51530271
krita is where it's at
Tixati is pretty much a requirement if you're Canadian since early 2015, unless you have other IP blocking alternatives.
Anything from the linux ecosystem ported to windows.
>>51530308
Nigga wat. I use Peerblock, and have been using it for years. Works great, no ISP complaints.
>>51530327
That falls under "other IP blocking alternatives."
My post was in response to OP.
>>51530288
It's not good for image editing
>>51529400
Agree. Fags keep pushing it because it's free, but it's too convoluted.
>>51530316
what about ports to mac i.e transmission
Every anti-virus program ever
>>51530464
>thinks a language is software
oh jesus /g/
The letter W it's a lazy m. zero creativity.
>>51530836
I know someone that bought a license. I asked why, they responded
>My trial expired what other program is there?
Baiting: the thread
>>51530836
I paid for Winrar because I had used it for years and felt bad, especially since nobody pays for it :<
>>51530191
Sure its a recording "at a loss", but hardware accelerated recording works, and that's their selling point. OBS and other pieces of software are great in the sense that they let you customize beyond your imagination, but considering the performance bump, it comes with a loss.
IF you can run with a capture card (hehe hardware accelerated recording) or record with another machine, for sure, OBS is one of the optimal ways to go.
However, if you want to record your video game sessons, or parts of them, in 1080p60fps, then Shadowplay has you covered, and you'd be a fucking idiot dismiss it.
>>51528960
Fuck you, Google Toolbar was the shit in 2006.
>>51529167
I'm looking for something like that too. qbit leaves shit in %appdata%. gonna test deluge and halite soon but I'm not sure how they'll react to 3k torrents
It once started updating automatically even though i had set it to only check for updates. I switched to gnu/linux that day
>>51530427
It works well enough for cropping images, but even that's difficult.
If I want to do anything complicated in GIMP, I get an overwhelming urge to set fire to my face and then put it out with a brick.
Peaked in XP, died with 7.
>>51532939
Not really. Just because everyone had it and google desktop installed doesn't mean it was good.
>>51529218
Because I can take my microwave apart, build a giant dildo out its parts and sell it to you, so you can shove it up into your faggot ass, without breaking the law.
>>51529591
This
>>51532917
The payed version is purely for corporate licensing reasons.
I love these threads because they actually turn me on to some good software I never knew about. Thanks NEETS!
>>51528977
Because if you don't run any of the non-free javascript, you are not executing a program.
A static website isn't software.
The engine that powers it can be non-free without infringing your freedom, as the breach of freedom happens on someone elses' computer. It's their choice to abuse or respect their own freedom.
>>51529218
Hardware that cannot be reprogrammed does not count as software and does not need to be free. I can take apart and modify a digital clock both legally and for free (both as in beer and freedom).
